User Roles & Permissions

Quick summary of roles used in this system.

• Admin: global superuser — can manage markets, create users, impersonate accounts, and view all data across markets.
• Manager: assigned to one market — manages market settings, assigns collectors, and oversees traders/payments for that market only.
• tax_collector: supervisory collector for a market — can view reports and manage collectors within their market.
• collector: field-level collector — can register traders and record payments but only for their assigned market.
• viewer: read-only access to market data (if assigned a market).

Where enforced: access checks in config/auth_guard.php and per-page controller checks (e.g., traders, payments, reports).
